Vanpro has a new "handle" on major medical manufacturer.

Cambridge, MN September 17, 2010 - Vanpro announces it has just completed a prototype program with a major medical equipment manufacturer.

Working closely with the customer, Vanpro Engineers were able to assist in the design. The prototypes consisted of several magnesium hogouts designed as enclosures to house electronics in the handle area of a portable ruggedized X-Ray detector system. The prototypes are the next generation of a current model which Vanpro supported in full production. The machined components were produced from AZ31B material and required extensive milling, glass bead-blasting as surface preparation for conversion coating and painting.
